Each September, the society holds its Annual Meeting, which includes an appetizer and dessert potluck, at Sherman Library and Gardens in Corona del Mar at 6:30 PM. This is a special opportunity to socialize with other members of the society. In addition, a special guest speaker is featured at the meeting.
General membership meetings are held at 7:30 P.M. on the second Thursday of each month, except July and August, and also feature a special guest speaker. Ordinarily we meet at the Trinity Episcopal Church on Canal Street in Orange (See map for location) Guests are welcome. Program and other information is published preceding each meeting in the County Courier, the official newsletter of the society. The Orange County Historical Society has been preserving history for the past eighty years.
Special Tours and Programs are sponsored by the Society to historical sites and museums in Orange County and the surrounding counties. These tours are always open to the public as are all functions of the Society. Various symposia and workshops are sponsored throughout the year as the need and opportunity arises.
